Risk notice
Last updated 22 September 2026
This notice is the piece a futures desk actually needs on a public site. dbSigma is not a proprietary trading firm and not a broker. The relevant idea we take from a proper legal footer is simple: say clearly that futures can ruin you, and that nothing here is a trade instruction.
Substantial risk of loss
Trading futures, including the E-mini S&P 500 Index futures contract (ES), involves a substantial risk of loss. Leverage works in both directions. You can lose more than you expect, faster than you expect. It is not suitable for everyone. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
No advice, no solicitation, no brokerage
Nothing on dbsigma.com is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any futures contract or other instrument. We do not execute, clear, or introduce your orders. Any account you trade sits with a firm you chose. Their disclosures and your own plan govern that activity — not this journal.
Process is not a promise
Checklists, plans, clocks, reviews, and screenshots are a record of how this desk tries to behave. They are not a forecast of the next print. Hypothetical, reconstructed, or selected examples have the benefit of hindsight. Past performance is not a guide to future results. A pass logged in the journal is still a pass if the market later ran.
You decide
You are solely responsible for whether you trade, how you size, and whether a picture on this site matches the live tape. If you are unsure, stand aside and take independent professional advice.
